Penny, Daisy, Bill, and Echo are the real strength behind the day-to-day operations here—our four feline executives who run a tight (and slightly chaotic) ship. Each cat has a very specific and essential role within the company structure, and frankly, without them, things would probably fall apart. Or at least, be a lot less furry.
Penny, our Senior Vice President of hiding in the copy room, takes her role seriously. She’s a master at creating a calm work environment by sleeping in exactly the spot you cannot find her, when you need her. Her strategic positioning often encourages much-needed breaks. She also leads the mid-morning meditation sessions (i.e., laying under a blanket).
Daisy, Head of stalking Logistics, ensures that the entire team is alerted the moment the food bowl drops below optimal levels. Her attention to detail is at the forefront, frequent hoovering over you while you try and work memos to all departments. She’s also the most vocal during the daily boardroom meetings when things get heated—although “meetings” often escalate into wrestling matches if someone tries to cut the line. She will surely hiss and let the other team members know that she doesn't like competition in the workplace.
Bill, the Office Manager, is in charge of surprise attacks and general mischief. He makes sure that when the other office members are relaxing, he will run up and surprise them to make sure they get back to work. He keeps the team on their toes. The kind of leader that rules the office and does what he wants, but we just cannot bring ourselves to fire him.
Echo, Director of Pest Control and Sudden Zoomies, provides top-tier security services. Any level of too much boredom entering the office is immediately intercepted and shut down. Echo’s lightning reflexes and loud hallway stampedes ensure no intruder goes unnoticed and has all the other cats in the office, stepping up their game or dealing with her insanity. She's also responsible for maintaining cardio standards across the office.
As a team, they hold impromptu strategy sessions, usually right in the middle of walkways or doorways, ensuring maximum traffic disruption for optimal team-building opportunities. Their contributions might look like naps, zoomies, and the occasional hairball—but make no mistake: these cats are the backbone of the business.
In short, while the humans think they’re running the place, Penny, Daisy, Bill, and Echo are clearly the ones in charge. And we wouldn’t have it any other way.
